Sprouting is a natural process that brings a seed to life. By soaking the nuts in raw quality, we activate their enzymes. Activation also reduces phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, so our body uses the maximum nutritional potential of nuts and seeds.  Minerals are more bioavailable (especially zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium), nuts are more digestible and, in addition, they supply our body with enzymes.

What does "activation" of nuts mean?

By soaking, the nuts come to life. The word „sprout“ is offered, but nuts (unlike seeds) do not form sprouts, a plant will grow out of activated nuts. That is why we are talking about their activation.

When a seed or nut falls from a tree in nature, it contains phytic acid, which is supposed to discourage predators. In the human body, it binds to minerals (zinc, magnesium, iron and calcium) and reduces their absorption. By soaking the nuts, we reduce the content of this acid. This releases or unlocks the essential minerals and makes them more easily accessible to the body.

Activated nuts and seeds are therefore easier to digest than regular nuts due to the soaking process. After the soaking process, the activated nuts are dried at very low temperatures up to 42° C to preserve the enzymes to support digestion. The nuts prepared in this way are wonderfully crunchy and delicate in taste.

In the last phase of production, we flavor the activated nuts in a holistic way and dry them again up to 42° C.
